Well, today is the start of the new school year at my house.
Honestly, I'm really not ready to give up my summer vacation time just yet. It's funny, at the begining of the summer I felt like I didn't want the school year to end because I wouldn't have my science class at my friend Hannah's house anymore, my youth group leader would be gone so we wouldn't get to do that until school starts again, and I thought that the whole summer would be pretty boring.
Guess I was wrong.
This has really be absolutally the greatest summer of my entire life! It's been one great fun time from spending the last week of June at Camp Hope clear down to hanging out with my friends at the local water park in August.
It's just so weird how the time goes. In one sense, it seems as though summer just started, but yet another part of me feels like it's been summer for forever. Odd, isn't it?
Then when I get to thinking about that, my mind seems to shift to another thought having to do with time.... I don't know why it is just so hard for the human mind to grasp how God doesn't dwell within the bonds of time as we do. Every time I think of it, my mind feels like it's tied in knots. I mean, I sort of understand it, but then again, I'm not sure if I really do. Everything in life has a begining, except for God and I guess it's that fact that is so hard for me to grasp.
Well, I'm off to work at the soup kitchen with my youth group now, but I shall hopfully get on again soon to write more...or at least sooner than I have been. Sorry for such long delays!

I totally know how you feel. I'm sad summer is over but then again, I'm looking forward to see what God has planned for the future. Lots of mixed feelings.
There is soooooooo much we are incapable of understanding about God.
Oh, if anybody is interested in reading the paper I wrote about time, just let me know!
hey hey! I'm glad to see you about!
I think I get it too - just when I think change is going to suck it ends up being better than before. Funny how that is. :)
What grade are you in? Are you good at math? lol just asking.
I'm in 9th grade...AAAAAHHH! High School! lol. Being home schooled I don't have to worry too much about going to a different school though :-) I still can't believe I'm a high schooler already though. Time flies. And I'm okay at math. Didn't like it too well last year but out of the 2 lessons I've done in it this year I've loved it...Hopefully I will the rest of the school year as well. Algeabra isn't quite as terrible as I'd thought it would be :)
