And the light came shining through it all//wakes you up to hear the call

Whew. This has been one heck of a wild week!

Spent the day/night at my grandparents place Monday and Tuesday we went to Fort Walla-Walla, watched some RC car races, and spent the night with my Aunt Becky & Uncle Dan (lol and stayed up late watching the first two Ice Age movies...haha I love how my uncle was able to drag bedtime out to be lots later than mom originally planned *grin*). Then Wednesday we went spent part of the morning with my aunt & uncle and then drove back to my gparents and had lunch there and spent a few hours before comming home. Thursday I was gone from 10 'till 5 jobshadowing a professional photographer, then came home for an hour and a half and was gone the resta the evening until 9 to Laurel/Dexter/Tator's church, reading Pilgrim's Progress & singing hymns (I <3 Thursday nights). Friday again I was gone all day...this time to Couer 'd Alene. Or however you spell that. Lucy told me how to spell it correctly on facebook and yet again I have totally forgotten how that correct version is spelled. Oh well. That was pretty awesome...walking 'round the resort district, standing in a small public restroom with my family and a toy store clerk watching a galaxy of stars, getting splashed by big waves at the lake stairs, Jamba Juice for dinner...oh yeah :-) good times.

And through it all I've been in pretty much the happiest mood I've experienced since the week before camp. In fact its the happiest mood, like, ever. Haha, its hard to describe and like nothing I've ever felt. Watching the effects of a direct answer to prayer before my very eyes, and realizing how as a result its effected me too. I've felt a lot closer to God this week than ever before.

It's amazing how being made to see a problem from a different angle can change things so much. Its like freaking out hearing the emergency alert system sending alarms on the radio but then suddenly hearing the words "This has been a test of the Emergency Alert System. Repeat, this is only a TEST". Life isn't really falling to bits. Relax. Trust God, He won't put you under more than He knows you can bear. Kind of reminds me of how in the Pink Panther movie the inspector's assistant will occasionally attack him, just to keep him on his toes. I think its like that with God, too. It's just too easy to go and get caught up in your own affairs and not focus on God as much as you should when things are going all great and smooth. So sometimes you're "attacked". Trials come, things happen. You get pushed beyond what you think is your limit and realize you can't make it on your own... and realize you haven't been trusting and relying on God as much as you should.

Another thing thats pretty awesome I've realized this week is how God's light can shine through people. I've noticed that a lot lately in my conversations I've had with Lucy, Lindy, & Bo... you guys have been so immensely encourraging to me lately, thank you for being there and being reminders of God's love :-) And thanks to any others of you who've been praying and reading my blog as well. I <3 you guys.

Thank you Lord, for these amazing people you've allowed into my life.

Aw, thanks Lucy =) haha I didn't even realize I had been an encourragment as well...cools! lol.

haha thanks Bo =D I rather liked it myself. Though I suppose that is one of those "duhh" statements...if I didn't like it I guess I'd not have used it XD oh well. My profile says I'm good at stating the obvious. I guess I'm just proving it true!
