The Uncomposed Song

It's hard to say "Alright, okay"
When it's not alright with me
And it's difficult to make it through this fog
I need some clarity

Oh 'n it's hard to say "I'm cool"
When I'm feeling blue
But as long as You're here, by my side
I know I'll make it through

Although the storms of life they beat me
And there's people out to cheat me
And the silver lining, it's hard to see it now
Through all the rain that's pouring down
On this town, on this town

Some people seem to think that
Life's got a happiness guaruntee
They say it's all in you're head and you'll be alright
But the pain's so real to me

And it's hard to keep on walking
When it's too dark to see the path
And it's so hard to just follow along
When I don't understand Your map

While the storms of life they beat me
And as the people out there, they cheat me
And the silver lining, it's invisible right now
Cause of all the rain that's pouring down
On this town, on this town

But I gotta press on
Gotta make it through
Soon I'll be back home with You
And the storms of life
They'll be in the past
Cause this world we're in won't last

Thanks =] I'm hoping to add music to it...we'll see how that all goes. lol. So far I've not had any luck mixing my lyrics and tunes into a complete song =P

Great song!!! And don't worry, the silver lining will come through. It just takes time. Haha! I'm sure you hear it a lot. All the same. ;-)

*hugs*

Yeah, it does, eventually. Actually I've been seeing it for a while now, but the lyrics fit good (and were a perfect matchup to the situation before) so I added them.
