Imaginary Superstar

Last night was completely awesome. My friend Karen and I stayed up until 3:45. She's the keyboardist of my band (pictured below-she's on far right) and a really awesome friend of mine :)

We had so much fun. We watched a romantic comedy-time travel movie, played piano and guitar... and did a photo shoot where I got to pretend to be a rock star (with an acoustic guitar! haha)

Yeah, good times =D

And sorry about the rather depressing post from my last visit here. I'm really not quite that much of a downer now. I'd just felt kinda lonesome at the time....

He threw the clock out the window to see time fly

So, thanks to Tator (aka Nathanael Hoffmann...I know it confuses so many of you when I always call him Tator. lol), I have been recently reminded of how soon Camp Hope is! Wow. So now I have this cool little counter up on the side of my blog so you all can keep track :-)

It's so strange this year though... I don't feel nearly as excited as I have in past years for camp. Completely lame, I know. Before I couldn't imagine myself saying what I just said. I guess it's just that life is changing and I just feel so distant from everyone any more. There's still a few Camp Hopies whom I have contact with semi-frequently... Winsome, Chloe, Lucy & Katie. Even so though... I dunno. Like I said, everything is different now.

Sorry I sound depressing, don't I? =P

On the Road...again.

My bro and I are getting very good at entertaining ourselves on road trips. I think I amused my family greatly while we were stuck in a traffic jam yesterday. 30 minutes of slow moving cars...so I was able to see everything on the road side very clearly. "Mountain dew bottle!" "hub cap!...whoa it's beat up. Bad-like." "ciggarette box!" "It's...a...wow no idea. But it's red! And weird looking!" "Wow- that's a mirror off a car!" .... yes I named off nearly every random piece of garbage we passed on the road side. Everybody laughed at me XD

Then today my bro and I decided that we would read all of the road/business signs and use the words on them to come up with an on-going story. So now we have this incredibly goofy tale of Pilot Allen Street and how his space shuttle crashed on a beach and he meets up with Cap'n Yobi, who is a 40-some year old guy who rides around in his red canoe and thinks he is a pirate.

Yeah.... lol. Things get interesting sometimes when the Iddings kids are bored!
And if Nathaniel saw this he'd be like "Kids!? We're teenagers, c'mon." But who cares? We're still both under 18, even if on my end it's only be like 7 or 8 months :P

♥ This Time of Year!

Mom commented about the fact that we can now hear crickets when we open the windows at night.....

Me: Awesome! I love cricket season!

Mom: When we first moved here when you were 6 you went outside one night and after hearing the crickets you came back saying "Wow mommy! We have loud tomatoes!"

Me: Yay! Loud tomatoe season!

.... Conversation of the day. Haha :)

Hi :)

Mega mega storm here.... SUPER windy like all day.... trees falling, semi truck got blown over, cloud of dirt covering the valley....oi. Haven't seen a day so stormy in quite a while- and we've had stormy days for like the whole last week!

Yikes.

And work got canceled. Bother. And relationships are complicated (well a certain relationship. It's funny though how something can be so wonderful yet hard at the same time). And as some of you know I have a mini-series on youtube that I'll be hopefully publishing the first couple episodes to in the near future! Yay. And inside jokes with my Texan BFF via chat =)

Oh, school too, of course =P

So yes, my life as of yesterday/today.

How are you?
